Allen Luis, M.D., F.R.A.C.P., F.A.C.C., F.A.S.E.
Allen Luis, M.D. is the Co-Director of the Pericardial Diseases Clinic and a staff cardiologist in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic. He is also the Medical Director for the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences Echocardiography and Advanced Cardiovascular Sonography Programs. Dr. Luis’ areas of clinical interest include pericardial diseases (particularly recurrent pericarditis and echocardiography-guided pericardiocentesis), echocardiography, valvular heart disease, and carcinoid heart disease. Dr. Luis is a member of the Board of Councilors and Vice-Chair of the Fellows in Training section for the American College of Cardiology – Minnesota Chapter.
